How Baby First Diapers Was Born
Having a baby is an exciting time! Figuring out which diaper is best for you and your baby is one of the many decisions you will make as a new parent. It was this decision as to which diaper to choose for our baby, and the process that we went through to find the right one, that ultimately inspired us to build Baby First Diapers. Like most journeys, it was not without a few bumps along the way, nor was it a particularly short one. But, we finally got there. Our goal at Baby First Diapers is simply to put your baby first.
How Baby First Diapers Is Putting Your Baby First
We go to work each day, thinking about the well-being of babies. And nothing embodies our mission like the Baby First Diapers Gel-Free Diaper, our flagship product. They are totally free of super-absorbent polymers, or SAP, of any kind. This is the chemical found in other disposable diapers, which is used to absorb moisture. However, it leaves your baby susceptible to skin irritation since it enables your baby to sit in a dirty diaper longer, before they finally cry out in discomfort. Because gel absorbs moisture so well, it also makes it difficult to monitor your baby’s food intake and whether or not he or she is hydrated enough. And of course, super-absorbent polymers are not environmentally-friendly. So instead, Baby First Diapers uses fluff pulp, which consists of untreated, low-energy, high-performance, southern pine, wood pulp from the United States. Our diapers are not only gel-free, they are also wheat-free, corn-free, perfume-free, dye-free, latex-free, and lotion-free to provide a hypoallergenic experience for your baby. In short, we are doing everything we can to put your baby first.
